Why join the European Finance Association?
- Membership of a global network of more than 2,500 professionals involved in the research, practice, study and teaching of Finance who adhere to the EFA Code of Conduct

- Discounted fees to submit a paper to Review of Finance.

Membership is managed using the ConfTool platform used for t he EFA Annual Meeting since membership is required to submit a paper. 2025 Membership is no longer available. 2026 Membership will be available from December 1, 2025.
* EFA members in the UK are entitled to income tax relief for annual membership dues paid, as approved in 2016 by the Commissioners for HM Revenue and Customs under Section 344 of the Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003; European Finance Association (EFA) appears on the list of approved bodies on the Gov.UK website.

VAT Information
Notes on VAT for EFA membership
- VAT at 21%will be applied on fees for all private individuals.
- VAT at 21%will be applied on fees for all members residing in Belgium.
- If payment is through a bank account of a registered company / institution with a valid EU VATnumber, the EU reverse charge mechanism will be applied.
- For payments received from bank accounts of all businesses / institutions outside the EU, VATis not applied.
